So, you might think I'm looking for brownie points because I'm blogging about my sweet husband, but I'm not. I'm blogging about my husband because he turned 40 today and he gets a birthday post just like everyone else! And, because, if you don't already know it, I'm here to tell you that I'm married to a good man. I've always thought my father is the greatest man I've ever known; and, although he still is, Jerry is a great man also. My husband loves the Lord. He loves me. He loves our children. He is the sole financial provider of our family and he provides above and beyond our needs. I love him more today than I ever thought I could love anyone. He has been my stability for over 20 years. This man...deserves more than what I can give him. I am so imperfect. I never stay on budget. I like to go to McDonald's. I'm fat. I don't wear make-up everyday. I'm am so unworthy of his love, but he loves me anyway--and not just a little bit; He really loves me a lot. Wow! Isn't he the greatest? Thank you, babe, for being such a good man.

Shannon - The "good ones" are few and far between for sure, and you did get one of the good ones, but I think everyone knows he's pretty blessed, too!!! I guess the two of you really did know what you were doing 20 years ago!!
