I had no idea when Lightning was given to us how much Golden Retrivers loved water. Wow! We can't go out and fill the water bowl up without Lightning playing in water as it leaves the hose! When he gets a drink, he puts his entire nose in the bowl. He digs at the water and splashes it all over his chest and puts his toys in his water after he fetches! Recently, we got out the crazy daisy and the little pool and Lightning HAD to join us for water play. Benjamin was a little frustrated at first because he wanted the pool all to himself and Lightning kept getting in it. I distracted Lightning with the crazy daisy for a while and that seemed to help until I thought he was going to destroy the crazy daisy playing with it so rough! So, I gave the hose to Benjamin and he and Lightning had a ball. Benjamin squirted and Lightning chased! Perfect!
